Our new Ideas Clinics are collaborative, peer learning spaces to help those working around participatory budgeting (PB) and beyond to come together to share experiences, challenges and ideas.

As PB practice evolves and develops across Scotland, we want to support people to deliver their participatory work - whether that’s small grants PB or using PB with mainstream budgets. Our ideas clinics are about opening up the floor to those with ideas to share, or tricky problems to explore.

How our Ideas Clinics work

Our online sessions generally start with brief presentations from our members who have an idea or issue to share. People are then be free to choose what to dig into in breakout rooms and get into some substantial discussion - all managed by our experienced facilitators and online producers.

They’re held online and usually last no more than 2 hours.

Postponed - Ideas Clinic, 30th October 2024, online

Please note that the upcoming ideas clinic has been postponed. We will update with further information soon. In the meantime, please join our mailing list.

We are looking for presenters for our future ideas clinics so if you have an idea or issue you’d like to share, please get in touch with Sam Jordan on the PB Scotland team. It might be new learning you’d like to share, or a challenging issue you’d like advice on - we’re happy to chat this over with you.
