Burnfoot Bids Together

A community voting event took place in Borders on Sunday 19 March 2017, with successful community groups getting a share of a £30,000 fund. The event took place at Burnfoot Community School in Hawick, and it all comes as part of a new community budgeting strategy, where residents, and the people who are most likely to use the funded services, decide where the money would be best spent.
