Ayr North Decides

Today at the John Pollock Centre in Ayr North, around 90 people attended a participatory budgeting event organised through the locality planning group for Health and Social Care.  

Presentations on the day

Twenty one groups presented on the day which resulted in eighteen receiving the total sum that they requested and 3 runners up received £373 (an equal share of the remaining funds). 90 people attended and voted in the event at the John Pollock Centre. The maximum grant was £500. There were a good range of proposals presented to the voting public including 5 from rural villages.  In total £10,000 was allocated on the day to community organisation.
