North Ayrshire's second PB event was held in the 3 Towns of Saltcoats, Stevenston and Ardrossan on the 21st May 2016. The event was held in the newly refurbished Saltcoats Town Hall, which proved to be a great venue and was a first chance for many of the community groups to see the new facility.

It was an exciting and busy day - 37 groups presented on the day, with 29 securing funding, from a total pot of £19,000.

There was a great buzz throughout the day with the evaluations proving that everyone had really enjoyed the experience and the majority saying they would do it again.

The day was enhanced by a visit from the local fire engine, lots of entertainment, including a silent disco, mocktails, our very own PB bingo and a local knowledge quiz, hosted by our modern apprentices and youth services.

Plans are in place for two youth PB events over the next month and four more locality PB events to be held before the end of the year.
