Date: 25 October, 2pm - 2.30pm
Young Scot and YouthLink Scotland will present this 30 minute webinar around young people’s involvement in PB.
Young people’s participation has a long history, and is more important than ever, legislation, policy and good practice demands that young people are at the centre of the decisions that affect their lives. However, whilst there are many examples of good youth participation, and youth participatory budgeting, young people are often missing from whole community PB processes.
Young Scot have been supporting Local Authorities by offering an online voting tool for young people for some time. Youthlink Scotland are delivering a Participative Democracy Certificate. Join us for this short webinar to hear how young people are involved right now and how online voting is providing the opportunity for young people to vote at a time and place convenient to them.
