Building a Stronger Merkinch PB event

Inverness Central local Councillors have set aside a ‘pot’ of £20,000 – made up of £10,000 from the local Ward Discretionary Budget topped up with £10,000 of Scottish Government funding - and they want to put the community in control of how it is spent through a ‘Building a Stronger Merkinch’ event.

Applications for funding closes this Friday (23th February 2018), see more info here. The PB event will take place on Sunday 24th March 2018. 10am at Merkinch Community Centre Coronation Park, Inverness. 

At the event applicants will be required to present their idea to the community. The event is open to all, and individuals who would like to help decide are invited to come along and vote for their favourite projects.  Those in attendance vote on all the applications and decisions are made on the day.
