Come and share your ideas and experiences about how participatory budgeting (PB) can be part of creating a more local democracy in Scotland.

PB supports people to have a say in where funding is spent in their communities. The current review of local governance ‘Democracy Matters’ is asking if communities should have more control over how decisions are made and, if so, what would this look like in practice?

This informal workshop will provide the opportunity to hear about what the review is finding so far, discuss how decisions which affect communities are currently taken, and to test out new ideas. Here you can also find out how you might host a conversation in your own community.

You may be a community activist, a PB participant, a local volunteer or a worker, all ideas and contributions are welcome!
