New report explores PB laws across the globe

A new report from People Powered explores how PB has been implemented into law by different countries across the globe. "Participatory Budgeting via National Law: What Works and What Doesn't," dives into the how PB laws are implanted and the impact they may or may not have:

“National PB laws appear to be most effective when lawmakers and civil society groups are committed to their long-term success and when laws are carefully deliberated before implementation. We offer recommendations about what to avoid, what to do, and what additional research is needed to advance this critical conversation.”

Scotland is also featured in the report, along with the work around Community Choices national PB funding and the PB Charter.
