Participatory Budgeting Community Councils webinar

The Improvement Service is hosting a free webinar on Participatory Budgeting for community councillors on Wednesday 15th November from 6pm to 7pm with Scottish Community Development Centre (SCDC) and Money 4 Moray.
A joint presentation from Money 4 Moray and Dawn Brown from the Scottish Community Development Centre who support PB Scotland, discussing the opportunities and challenges for community-led Participatory Budgeting (PB) processes. Money 4 Moray were formed by the Joint Community Councils of Moray and have delivered numerous successful PB processes now.
The session will give an overview of PB, the nuts and bolts of running a good process, and then you’ll hear from Money 4 Moray who have years of experience and are currently involved in the Just Transition PB partnership in the Northeast of Scotland. They will share their passion for PB, their knowledge and experiences with you to hopefully inspire more community led PB across the whole of Scotland!
