Following the launch of the PB Charter, this learning event will explore one of its key features: deliberation.

Proper dialogue and deliberation is vital for people taking part in PB to come to the best decisions for their communities. But how much deliberation is really happening as part of participatory budgeting (PB) in Scotland?

Featuring Dr Oliver Escobar, this free event will build on the PB Charter and explore this important issue, asking: Why is deliberation important? What does it look like? How can we do it well?
