Participatory Budgeting Youth Accelerator Open Space Workshop
/Wednesday 22nd April: 09:30 – 12:30
PB Youth Accelerator is the working title of a new initiative looking to collate evidence of participatory budgeting involving young people in the community and in schools.
Hosted in the opulent Satinwood Suite in Glasgow City Chambers, this event will be an opportunity to engage with a diverse cross-section of those having leadership roles behind the growth of Participatory Budgeting in Scotland, including we hope, members of the Scottish Government and Scottish Local Authorities, the voluntary and community sectors, politicians, school leaders and academics.
There will also 30 delegates from Poland, Spain, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland connected to the Erasmus+ funded PB Youth Accelerator Programme.
Following brief presentations and demonstrating our proposed website to get initial ‘user’ feedback, this will be an open conversation, using the methodology of Open Space/World cafe (brief overview of open space at http://www.theworldcafe.com/key-concepts-resources/world-cafe-method/).

This event will be followed with a Legislative Theatre workshop from 13:30 – 16:00. More about it here.
