Learning event: The Way Forward for PB in Scotland, 18th Nov 2021

Thursday 18th November, 9:30 – 12:30, online

This learning event will be a chance for people with an interest in PB to come together and discuss what’s next for participatory budgeting (PB) in Scotland.

With the pandemic still part of our lives, we’re adjusting to how we can deliver PB. Whether online, or in-person with limitations, we’ve gained fresh insights and learned new ways to deliver engaging PB that gives communities a direct say in the issues important to them.

But what comes next? What should be our priorities for the next twelve months and beyond? And how can we deliver on them?

With the publication of the National PB Strategic Group’s ‘PB Framework’, we’ll have a chance to discuss their recommended priorities, think about how they might be applicable to our work and explore what barriers and opportunities we might face.

Held online, this participative learning event will include plenty of chances for discussion, as well as an opportunity to hear form PB practitioners about their experiences during the pandemic.
