Gorbals Ideas Fund publishes new PB strategy

Gorbals Ideas Fund has published new strategy exploring how it aims to expand its PB activity over the next three years, with a set of aims and objectives around increasing local participation and community empowerment in the area.

The Gorbals Ideas Fund was established in 2018 to promote participatory budgeting (PB) in the area and has distributed £111,000 through PB, with more 2100 people voting on 68 ideas and activities.

They work to an updated vision:

"The Gorbals Ideas Fund educates and empowers local people to impact the duding and budget decisions that affect our lives and our communities."
